I am searching for a LWRC REPR in any length though 18" would be ideal.

Seems to be a common opinion on this forum and I can respect that but my buddy has a REPR and I love it.

Thems are the only 7.62mm ARs I’d trust.
And Colt, but I haven’t ever shot one, nor have I seen one shot in person, so it didn’t make the list.
Owning 2 OBR 7.62’s (16" and 18"), and an SR 25 ECC, I will say that something about those spiral, barreled, REPR’s really get my bolts spinning. I definitely plan on making that my next purchase, provided they’re not banned in the near future. I wish you luck in your search. The MWS is a great rifle also, so either way you go, you’ll be set.

Although I’m sure you’re already doing this, have you been checking the EE’s on the various forums that are out there? REPR’s seem rarer, but there usually are a few MWS’s there whenever I check.
I’ve checked all the forums I frequent. If there’s anywhere specific I should look I’d appreciate a heads up.
Do a google search for lent MWS for sale. I found 6 16 inch barrel for sale in 10 mins.

Couldn’t find a REPR for any kind of reasonable price and now with funds depleted I’ll just hope to pick up one later in 2013.

I own both the MWS and MRP 5.56 Piston, they are both excellent rifles, accurate enough and very reliable.
I’d love to have a mid gas 16" MWS barrel as it would tame it a little. The MWS definitely has more recoil than my OBR and SCAR17, it can be tamed with a PRS and BABC or other muzzle device.
Paid 3500 for MWS new and unfired with 5 PMAGs from a police marksmanship instructor.
Paid 1800 for MRP piston NIB from semi local gun store I know through a different forum.
Ordered 10 308 PMAGs before the price went up. Have 556 mags back ordered.

Yeah it’s way more than I should have paid but it was the best deal I could find. I wasn’t willing to wait 6-18 months on a list. So the premium was the cost of instant gratification.
Looking at gunbroker now they are going for 4000-4500 and more.
A REPR I was following went for 6k
I wouldn’t buy any gun right now. The craze will die down eventually, IMO.
$3500…I hope you get some good use and enjoyment out of it.
For 3500 I bought my MWS, padded sling, bipod with mount, and scope rings and my scope. Of course the mil discounts saved me about 1500.
No matter what you got what you wanted and those items will treat you right for a very long long long time. Have fun and enjoy the MWS. Post pics of your set up when you can.
Yeah I watched that REPR go for 6k on GB as well, and the MWS’s have been selling over 4k. That said I have seen some light at the end of the tunnel since xmas has passed NO bids on the more recent 200% markup listings and the high dollar sales have had no bids since the 23rd. Some Dick tried to list a LMT BCG ONLY for over $1200! I hope things settle down a bit as I have 2 uppers I am needing to put together.
