Does anyone have any reviews on this rifle? How accurate is it at the various barrel length you fired it in and what kind of ammo was it? How reliable is it, what kind of ammunition did you put through it and how many rounds? Any other key things you can think of, positive and negative. So if anyone has any imput about the M6A3, it will be appreciated.
I’ve had mine about a month. It is a 6.8 SPC. Only had a chance to zero the irons and fire a few rounds. I like it so far - a lot. I have 4 C-Products 25 round mags, and six of the Barrett 30 rounders. Limited range time shows it to be very accurate (using 63 year old eyes with irons) and zero function issues with the rifle or any of the magazines. Clean up was a breeze. Used a Q-Tip to wipe off the bolt face and cleaned the bore. I would probably clean the piston system after a longer range session. Top section of the rail comes off easily for access.
I have an EOTech EXPS3-0 and 3x Magnifier on order. I also have a Leupold 1.5x5 that I am going to put on a LaRue 5/8" Picatinny riser - just because it is not currently mounted on anything else. With both on QD’s, I will have some options if needed.
The LWRC that I have is a top quality rifle, nothing but praise for it so far.

I was actually looking at the 6.8 SPC version. So how is the weight fully loaded? Also what barrel length do you have it in?
Sorry to jump on your post but- amazing pics!
Also do you know if it is standard that the Bolt Key is integrated to the bolt carrier?
All M6 series bolt carriers from about this time last year have had the built in key (aka one piece carriers). The one in the pics is their one piece carrier.
In my opinion.
A better AR isn’t made. ![]()
Only a KAC comes close. ![]()
I’ve got the 14.7" and I pretty much love it.

These are 10 shot groups at 100 yards. Not exactly amazing but I’m not exactly an amazing shooter either. The rifle is definitely more accurate than I am. YMMV.

I have a 12.7" upper that I have shot over 4,500 rounds through and I love it. I’m giving it a rest and it now sits in my bedroom linen closet next to my Remy 870 (both for home defense use). ![]()
out of the lwrc i like the m6a3 a lot beter than the m6a2 but i have had issues with there customer service great rifles just rude people work at lwrc in my opinion
Did you have a problem with your rifle or did you just have a question for them?
Also does anyone have the 18" DMR varient?
While there appear to be several LWRC fanboys here, you’d better read through this thread before you take the plunge.
One negative review trumps pretty much every positive review and anyone who posts a positive review is a fanboy. ![]()
To be clear, I’m extremely happy with my M6A3 but I’m far from a fanboy. LWRCs REPR problems, for example, were not excusable in my opinion.
Being an LWRC fan boy, Magpul fan boy, Colt fan boy…what else do I like and feel works well?
Anyway, I too would like to here feedback from anyone with a 18" A3.

Well all he said was that his rifle was not high quality. And the groups that Roneski shot were alot tight than four inches so with the extra knockdown power it looks pretty good. The one thing I do admitt as a down side to the 6.8 is the avalibility and price, also if the SHTF it would not be as easy to obtain the ammo.
I got about 1.5-2 MOA using Centurion M193 ball out of a 14.7" M6A3.
Mine is 5.56. I overlooked that you were looking for a 6.8. My fault.
And FWIW 6.8 does offer interesting ballistic performance. But most of the “2.23 is underpowered” stories revolve around M193 ammo and are just generally exaggerated. If the operators of the world were all shooting something like a 77 grain hollow point (mk.262) I don’t think that those stories would exist.
Long story short, if you are limiting yourself to mil spec ball then yes, 6.8 is much more interesting than if all types of 5.56 were available to you.
Hope that made sense… Just my $.02.
Its crazy how far the bolt assy has changed in the last couple years.
Well I do not have my heart set on the 6.8 I was just looking at that option, I still have not decided on it yet.
