So, my marriage is in shambles. It’s hard to admit on a open forum, but it is. It all started with what I can only describe as emotional instability from myself. Don’t get me wrong I did marry a woman so there’s that, but none the less… No sex drive at all, no focus, no ambition that I once had. Basically my wife suggested this possibility about 7 months ago and I sheepishly disregarded it. Fast fwd to the point that I’m pretty sure I’m getting divorced and I took it on myself to go and get myself tested because I was nailing all the check boxes once I started searching. Well low and behold I went to a Low T center and was tested at noon (awake for 4-5 hours) at 219. Some labs still have to come back, but lets be honest 219 and 8AM still puts me well below the norm.
So I’ve always been a pretty small guy. At one point I actually managed what one would consider some bulk and abs for a 5’9" guy, but I was working out 6 days a week and my diet was spot on. It was fine when I was working 28 hours a week and didn’t have any concerns.
So today. I suppose my biggest thing is this: Where do I go from here. So My T levels are pretty low. So I’ll do TRT. Fine, but what should my next step be? Endocrinologist? Uro? I would like to get the root cause even if the answer is just, “congrats on your TRT have a nice day.”
Anyone been there done that? Facing a potential divorce with a 2 year old I would rather not jump to 12 different doctors. I guess a important portion of this is to include I have always been healthy. So I pretty much only went to walk in clinics. Work provides free physicals every 6 months on site.
