Low back pressure, .30 cal, and full auto rated-what’s out there?

I have 2 cans, both SiCo. Got them in the last bogo deal, a Velos 556 and an omega 300. Couldn’t be happier.

Looking to add a few more. Specifically ones that are .30 cal, full auto rated and low back pressure. My default is the Velos 7.62, but I know there have to be a few more options out there I’m missing.

I don’t have experience with any .30 cal cans but I do like my Huxwrx 5.56 cans, which they do make in .30. I’ve been eyeballing Witt Machine’s suppressors which are low back pressure, direct thread and full auto rated all under $300. I don’t have any experience with them but for that price they are hard to resist. I haven’t seen @1168 around in a while but he would definitely be able to steer you in the right direction.

I’d like a Witt 30 cal can, but I don’t think they’re true “flow” cans. Anyone can say “low back pressure” because that’s un-quantifiable.

Hux would be my choice if trying to minimize toxic gas to my body. But even flow cans get gassy with a high volume of fire.

Not Gonna lie I did the name lol

I grabbed an Otter Creek Polonium 30 for just over $500 in the last couple months but need to get outside to use it. Too busy to get outside with high schoolers soccer and college prep stuff.

Witt isn’t a low backpressure can. At best they just have an inefficient baffle.

OP, I have a .30 Velos and it would be my top choice for something I’m going to use the shit out of. The Hux 30 is actually not bad, especially considering my opinion of the 556k, but you’re stuck with their muzzle device which sucks.

Polo is not LBP. But not a bad can by any means.

The two best options I’m aware of according to testing for low back pressure, and effective suppression are C.A.T. and PTR. Dillon is also making a low back pressure suppressor utilizing the same technology as PTR.

If full auto is on the dance card go C.A.T. or Dillon since they both offer their stuff in 3D printed Inconel.

I have been very very happy with my C.A.T. Johnny Law in titanium. The muzzle device works great, and unlike Hux, CAT open sourced their 1X16 LH taper mount so there are aftermarket options. They also offer HUB compatible cans.

Velos is Inconel, as well. Hux has the Flow 556 MG that is Inconel. It sounds comparable to the Velos, but like the other Flow cans you’re stuck with their muzzle devices. One of my buddies has one on a select fire.

I can’t compare them to a CAT, Dillon, PTR.

Edit: forgot we were talking about 7.62…not sure if any of Hux’s 7.62 cans are available in Inconel.

The Velos 7.62 seems like the easy answer, especially since I already have ASR flash hiders on everything.
Damn I need another SiCo BOGO deal lol.
