PLENTY AVAILABLE -5/8" Gas Block Taper Pins
These taper pins of course, are the very hard to find size of 5/8" long for use with VLTOR and similar sized GB’s for a nicer flush fit as compared to longer 3/4" pins on the market. I have these custom taper pins available in BOTH standard finishes for your AR building pleasure:
-Parkerized finish (professionally parkerized by ADCO Firearms), -OR- Stainless Steel w/bead blasted finish, professionally bead blasted by ADCO. This bead blasted finish matches such items as VLTOR/Noveske SS gas blocks, as well as Noveske SS bead blasted bbls as well (or any other bead blasted SS bbls on the market today).
These taper pins are the perfect size for anyone using gas blocks such as the VLTOR low profile GB, where a longer, unsightly Colt 3/4" taper pin just doesn’t fit anywhere near flush, and protrudes out the side of your GB. I have a good number of these available for purchase immediately, after having sold out of two large boxes of several hundred the first time around.
Despite the time and effort that goes into having these park’d and blasted by ADCO, I still offer these at a VERY reasonable price, almost HALF of what 3/4" long Colt pins sell for.
Colt taper pins cost almost twice as much per pin (almost $4 each), and only come in one finish - (park’d).
Anyhow, the bottom line is that these custom made, flush fitting 5/8" taper pins just look more professional as compared to 3/4" Colt pins sticking out the side of your VLTOR or similarly sized GB.
