Looking to go with Pro or H-1

The only red dot I’ve ever owned was the 512 eotech. Now looking to get aimpoint and after much reading was going to get the Pro until I held it at the LGS and it’s pretty heavy after you add mount for 1/3 witness. I looked up the specs and it is indeed heavier than 512. Granted I have a DD with a 12inch rail so the run is on the heavy side to start with.

Which led me to look at the h-1 I see great reviews on it and the T-1 (which I don't plan on diving with my AR). What concerns me is the field of view through the 20mm tube compare to the Pro or the 512. Has anyone came from a Pro to a Mirco? Likes/dislikes?

Either is fine. I prefer the Pro for the price. I have both. Don’t overthink this.

This exact topic was discussed just a week or two ago.

No argument with LittleLebowski’s quick summary.

To me the whole field of view thing is overrated considering you shouldn’t really be looking “through” the tube like a scope. Keep both eyes open and its not an issue…especially for us cross eye dominant guys.

I prefer the Micros

The value argument for the PRO really takes the cake, only if you care about optic weight should you’ consider the next best value (H-1 on DD Mount). I adore my H-1’s, those are my favorite reflex optics, but if you don’t feel the micro is better than the 30mm tube, then don’t spend the extra money.

Like Littlelebowski stated, do not over think this.

Whatever you can get for a cheaper price.

I have an H1, I love it and will probably buy another H1 or T1 in the future if I can get it for the same price as I got my H1.

Wait until black friday (best sales) and many optics will probably be on sale that day. I got an H1 for under $400 last black friday.

If you are considering one or the other, then you can afford the H-1. Get the H-1. It’s smaller and lighter. Get the best you can afford
