I’m looking for the link to the video posted on the net showing a Marine soldier instructing a bunch of Iraqi soldiers how to shoot. Seeing how poor their marksmanship were, he told most of them, “You suck, see those guys over there, go sit with them”. It was hilarious. Someone posted the link on the 10-8 forums a few days ago, now I can’t find it !

And sad, because I feel so sorry for those (our) guys. How frustrating.

This video clip is a perfect example of why it is taking so long to create a viable Iraqi Army and Police Force. Unfortunately the liberals and the grass eaters don’t get it and prefer to not only tell the opposing team when we are going to leave the game, but also show them our play book for the remaining time we do play.
After two tours there I have repeatedly told people that it will take 3 to 6 times longer to get a mediocre result, from those Iraqis who are trying to build a new government, that we would expect here. Unfortunately the 120 minute attention span of most Americans can’t grasp that.
Final thought, this video also provides one a better appreciation for how 300 Spartans (plus a few thousand Greek Allies) were able to fight and kick butt against 250,000 Persians/Arabs for over three days.

He is a Gunny. The bad news is since he is making our allies look bad , and since this is hitting the internet. He is probably going to have a world of crap coming down on his head.
Unfortunately, SGTMAJ is proabably right.
What should serve as a glaring example of what these guys have to work with, and show that if we leave the Iraqis on their own it’s just throwing away what has been gained…
…Instead will be probably used to assail this Marine who is only guilty of busting his butt to the point of utter frustration.
A lot of people will look at it and feel sorry for the Iraqis in the class.
We look at it and feel sorry for the Marines who have to try to teach them.
Thank God I have enough sense to be in the second group.
