I’ve been looking for a velcro-backed holster for my EDC weapon to fit inside of one of my go-bags, but I need one with soft lining. All of the holsters I’ve seen to date have the hook-side velcro coming into direct contact with the weapon - while not unusable by any means, I’d prefer something that won’t scratch the heck out of the finish or the frame.
Are there any velcro-compatible holsters with soft linings? Thanks!
Ive got Maxpedition’s universal handgun holster laying around the house somewhere. IIRC, only the rubberized portion of the holster comes in contact with a 9mm Glock, no other part of the holster contacts it. No hook or loop for that matter. I can double check when I get home to be sure.
That said… I never use the thing anymore. If a handgun is going in a bag, any bag, its going in there Condition 4 and no holster is necessary. Just my 0.02…
