Looking for a small, side button flashlight

I’m looking for a small handheld flashlight, like a Gladius or the Surefire tactical lights. The problem is, I want one with a side button on/off. We have the large Maglights in the squad cars, but on day shift I don’t carry it on me. It stays in the car and I end up in a dark basement, or an abandoned building with no power. I carry a Gladius on my duty belt, but I’m not really a fan of the tail cap for flashlights.

I don’t really care for the Harries technique. I’ve been using the Surefire/Rogers technique, but I want to be able to use the Chapman for rifle, pistol, and shotgun.

I’ve checked some of the manufacturers web sites, and searched this site with negative results. Does anybody know of a small flashlight with side button on/off?

For small, running on a 1xAA battery, you can do the LRI Photon Proton Pro. It is a side button.

I’m not well versed in all of the flashlight companies and their models. I’ve never heard of that company before. Do you have any experience with the Proton Pro? with the company? It’s close to what I’m looking for, but I’m hestitant on not knowing anything about the company.

Matt, they are the company that makes the original Photon Light. They have been around for years, making small coin cell lights for use on keychains etc. The Proton Pro is larger, being a 1xAA battery light.

I have experience with the company thru the Photon lights, but have not had a Proton Pro. I personally prefer end cap switches, so the side button has not interested me much.

Here are some review links.
