Looking for a MOLLE velcro panel for plate carrier

Recently I purchased one of Diamondback Tactical’s Predator Rapid Cutaway plate carriers (gen 2). I am very pleased with the quality, the stitching, and the chest height. It sits pretty high on my chest allowing me to access my kydex magazine pouches and my Blackhawk Serpa easily.

But… I have a problem. The cummerbund was quite large on me (I’m a skinny dude), so I removed it. But the cummerbund for the Rapid Cutaway Predator vest attaches in the front via velcro and 2 clasps. So I have a large panel of soft-side velcro on my front. I would rather cover this up to prevent leaves, dirt, twigs, and branches from catching on the softness while I crawl around. I don’t know whether I’m going to attach anything directly to the front of the carrier, but I would love the option to do so.

In the photo above, the red outline shows how large the soft-side velcro patch is. The orange shows the clasps that flap over the top, and the yellow dashed line is the zipper that connects both sides.

With this being the case, I Googled around for velcro patches/panels that I can attach to the front, but have not found any that would work.

Have any of you guys run into the same problem using your plate carrier without a cummerbund? If so, how did you cover up the soft-side velcro?

Thanks, any help/advice is appreciated.

Check this out, should fit your needs depending on what colors are in stock. Maybe one on each side of the zipper.
