Looking for a lowpro belt mounted IFAK

I’m trying to find a lower profile IFAK to place on my first line belt at the small of my back. Everything out there I’ve seen thus far seems a bit narrow and fat. Essentially I’d like something that’s horizontally rectangular and that packs a bit flatter. If it could be 6-7" long, 3-4" tall, and at the most 2" deep, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Is there anything out there that’s close to what I’m describing?

I wish they sold this without the supplies.

Molle: (all within the size you would like or smaller)

Agreed. That’s right up my alley with the design concept, but good lord, at that price, no thanks.

I added a bunch.

You’re a boss. Thank you.

How do you like that small tearaway TYR pouch of yours? Do you think it would be appropriate for a belt?

It would work great on a battle belt. I use the ICE belt ifak on mine but they are notorious for taking months to ship.

Ah, I can see now why you said “good luck” on your earlier post. Thanks again.

I just put a Tyr Micro SOF IFAK on my PC and am pretty impressed with it. Perfect size and carries a bit, I think I have a TQ (CAT), shears, Isreali, old school bandage, kerlix, chest seal, needle for decompression and gloves in mine. Only problem was it took a couple months to get mine, but well worth it.

The ITS fat boy is a nice piece of kit as well. Maybe something too look at.

Check out the LBX Pouch. Small and low profile. Only looks available in their Project Honor colorway though.

LBX Belt IFAK

Yeah, that pattern is a bit of a turn off. All my personal gear is RG, so I wouldn’t really want to throw it on there.

However, the pouch itself is a bit more of what I was attempting to describe in my first post. Something that packs a bit flatter, but covers more area.

In any case, unless I find something else in the next few weeks, I think the ICE belt mounted IFAK will be the best choice for me. I’m willing to wait.

Being a form follows function man myself, for the 17 bucks it costs, I’d buy a rattle can of Krylon or some Rit dye. I would value getting the right piece of kit for the job rather than how well it accessorizes with the rest of my pouches.

I agree. The fact that’s it’s airsoft gear is a big turn of to me too, more so than the color.

I found that the pouch is available in MC from LBT directly (not the LBX line). I think I’m just going to go that route instead. I’d rather spend the money on something worthwhile.

The LBT-9022 is made in ranger green, give them a call. We run them and have been very happy with them. We use the Boundtree Medical HRT4 ifak insert and it fits perfectly.

Thanks, wick. Much appreciated!

Airsoft gear? Lol. LBX is not airsoft gear. It’s their non-Berry Compliant offshore-built line.

The LBX stuff is just as well made as the LBT stuff, it is simply made elsewhere, out of the same material, in their own proprietary camo, on the same patterns as the LBT stuff.

But hey, it’s your money.

Oh? I didn’t know. When I googled LBX all I saw was airsoft this or that. I assumed the worst. I’ve had experience with crummy pouches that’d I’d rather not repeat.

Don’t be embarrassed, as much as I love LBT and I’m sure LBX is well made, it seems they market to that crowd with random camo patterns inspired by video games. So it’s easy to dismiss them…

Try the sotech viper. Buddy runs one small of back on his belt and I’m now looking for one. They are pricey but either hand access and flat enough for vehicle ops is hard to find.
