Don’t have one, never used one. I remember hearing good things about them when they came out, and can’t recall anything bad about them. They seem very robust. Too rich for my blood though.

anybody else have any bipod experience
The two best choices for bipods are the Tango Down and VLTOR. The are some other ones out there, but then tend to have a lot more screws, springs, etc.

All Three above choices are good, heck prob the best out there. It pretty much all depends on what your using it for and how it will be employed.
Before dropping big bucks on a decent bipod, you should try the mag monopod, that is, setting your 30-round mag directly on the ground. With practice, this is amazingly stable, because it’s actually a tripod–left elbow, mag, right elbow. You also always have it with you and it doesn’t add weight. Contrary to popular baloney, no your rifle won’t jam just because the mag is sitting on the ground.
