And I was just wondering If any one here has any experiance with this optic? Not looking for something cheap feeling but also donāt want to break the bank for a .22lr rifle either. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated
6moa is big. not a bad looking sight, but i say check out primaryarms.com i have their m3 red dot with their 3x magnifier combo, and it works great always holds zero on both my FAL and AR. a friend has the colt 22lr and used the tacstar, i think thats the name of it, replica holographic sight on it and it wont hold zero. if you get that sight post back and let us know how it holds up. the more input for cheaper fun ānon combatā sights the better.
How many rounds have you put the clones through? How do you like the mounts? Is the magnifier nice? I would be real tempted to get the m4 red dot for the 22 and a magnifier for my AR.
Sig has their STS-081 4MOA T-1 clone. I see them for $150 and even less 2nd hand. I have no experience with the sight though. Anyone see one in person?
I have two (2) of these sights mounted on .22lr āfun gunsā. Iām pretty happy thus far with the sight(s). I would NOT want to depend on it on a fighting rifle thoughā¦
I paid less than $100 for each of them. Brightness is OK even here in the desertā¦
The m3 with high co-witness cantilever mount and 3x magnifier with quick disconnect mount has about 300 rounds on the FAL and about 300 on my dads AR15. has been flawless. the magnifier is clearer and more magnified than the china aimpoint replica my dad purchased. he is going to order the primaryarms magnifier soon since the mounts are back in stock. i also use it with my aimpoint micro t1 and works great. i havnt had a chance to compare quality to a real aimpoint or eotech magnifier because i didnt want to pay alot for something i only use sometimes at the range. i say go for it. i am very happy and saved alot of money.
