London, KY police hit the wrong address

Facebook claims(which on other details keep ending up as fact) are that there was never any warrant.

It sounds like to me that someone wanted to kill that guy and so far has gotten away with it.
That Mayor can hug a root.

No body cam footage.

Hope there is another resident with a security camera who is biding their time.

Question is, does Governor Beshear have the balls to step in and hold the local officials accountable?

Of course not, because Demofascists <3<3<3 themselves some Jack Booted Thug.

Was this just a terrible accident?
What are the odds there was some kind of motive besides getting the Judges friends weedeater back ASAP?
To Who’s advantage is it that this guy is gone?
Do Officers often do “No Knock Warrents” there?
When they do, do a “No Knock”, who all participates on one of those?

Here’s a hint for all of you who want to confirm an address? Simply ask the Water Department.

It wasn’t a no knock based on the footage from the security camera, but just barely since there was not much knocking before breaching the door. There are numerous Facebook claims(others of which have proven true) that there never was a warrant.

The weed eater and mini heater that were stolen by Buttery(which do not total $1000 to make a Class D felony as they are alleging against Buttery) belonged to a nephew of the Laurel County judge executive and were stored on the judge executives property. A judge executive in KY is a county elected office and is similar in function to a city mayor, not part of the black robed judiciary.

The address numbers are on the side of each home. According to the Facebook posts(again, which have proven accurate so far) the cops had been there earlier that day(and were shown in total daylight on screen shots from what appeared to be the same security cam that recorded the murder) so any claims of confusion in the dark don’t seem to hold up.

Another thing claimed by people posting on Facebook from that area is reporting thefts up to and including automobiles are typically laughed off.

A couple of things pointed out about the security camera footage by this attorney and another one is immediately after the shooting the cops have a pow wow out in the yard for a minute or 2 before calling it in and the fear for their lives squad also don’t bother clearing the house.

Lol, Governor بَشِر. Kentucky is a helluva interesting place.

I get the reference.

Beshear is a Lebanese surname, correct? There were some up in NE Ohio where I’m originally from.

Arab, in general. Spelled a variety of ways in the Latin alphabet in the US, like Italian surnames. Like many of either, it has a religious meaning, though it’s not like he picked it himself.

It’s commonly spelled Bashir, like Assad.

I did not know that. Beshear(along with Beshears and Brashear) is a fairly common name in Kentucky.

Kentucky also has the second largest (IIRC) Arab-American immigrant population cluster.

Did not know that either.

Certain areas of eastern KY have quite a few people of Italian origin that is my understanding got here via coal mining.

Apparently some Swiss immigrants ended up in western Laurel County where there is the town of East Bernstadt and a community called Swiss Colony. There is a guy buried in Daniel Boone who was Swiss born in the mid 19th century and died here in the 19teens if i recall correctly.

Parts of both sides of my Family arrived in Virgina before we were a Country and they moved west in to Kentucky.
They were farmers, blacksmiths and Whiskey makers and owned a floating Tavern on the Ohio river.
My Grandmother told me stories of delivering buckets of Beer to the workmen along the river banks as a kid.
My Grandfather when asked what they grew in Kentucky, talked about Tobbacco and Corn, but he said the soil was poor and that he would plow the same fields year after year and never get all the rocks out. Rock and Red Clay.

Those folks, some of them moved on to better lives, most of my Family moved on to Indiana and fertile soil or the factories sprouting up everywhere.
The ones who stayed back in Kentucky and never left are all too ingrained in that Kentucky life, just a half a Bubble off.

My family immigrated to NewYork in the early/mid 20th century and I have a rather uncommon Italian last name. Several years ago we were driving some backroads going to Mammoth Cave, KY when I saw a street sign with my last name on it so I pulled over and took a picture with my 35mm camera (prior to cellphone cameras). I probably have some long lost relatives that settled in that area.

Town meeting is rather telling.

Where is the KY AG’s office on this debacle? They need to be up that town’s ass with a proctoscope!

No interest so far.

The only thing i have seen that might indicate getting involved in a way seeking justice for Harless is this.

No it wouldn’t. Please don’t turn this into one of the imbecile boards. Pulling legal immunity would result in Police doing NOTHING AT ALL. The states that pay garbage and hire low level candidates would continue to do the same activities they usually do.

You think the defund police movement was bad and created high crime? The white cries of “end qualified immunity” are even more ignorant, and that is really saying something.

WA state decided they would change the law, and Sgts plainly told their troops, “stop being proactive, stop going to crimes in progress, let it run its course and just take a report”.

If you want cops to do nothing but write tickets to show they are “productive”, keep with the “end QI” talk. When its you, your wife, your mom, or family that is being victimized, thank yourself and make sure you have a good detailed description of the suspect. Not that anyone will be following up on it.
