LMT MWS barrel decisions

FYI… LMT is taking orders for and shipping some 260, 243, and 6.5 Creedmoor. 20" black coated stainless rifle gas for $566 list price. I think it suggests the indication I heard from someone else that these are Wilson barrels and not the Rock Creek that the 308 Stainless are assumed to be is true.

Has anyone told Trident yet??? He’ll be crushed!

Where are these $500 barrels? I only see the $700 SS barrels- which my local retailer is selling for $760- nice.

I’m not 100% sure, but I believe I read on this forum a couple months ago that a 7mm-08 offering is in the future.

I called LMT 2 days ago and asked the Question about the Barrel Make…The Gentleman I spoke with (did not get a name) stated that all of LMT’s Barrels were made by Mike Rock.

I am looking to change my barrel as well. The twist rate on the chrome lined is 1in10"…the twist rate on the SS is 1in11.25". Isn’t the tighter twist better for the heavier bullets?? Isn’t the reason the Brits went with the 1in11.25" twist because they use the 150ish grain bullets? Radway Green Ball and their special loaded Match?
