LMT lowers

Guys,

I’d like to buy an LMT lower.

Long story, but I’m having a NY legal Colt 6920 upper made for me by Tina and the other nice folks at SAW. They can’t give me a Colt lower. I could walk you through the nightmare of the NYS AWB, but then you’d all have to go off and kill yourselves…and I just can’t have that on my conscience.

So…I’m going to buy an LMT lower. I just visited the site, but was a bit overwhelmed by the number of choices. I view you guys as the Colt/LMT authorities, so let me know what you think.

Can’t have a telestock. In fact, I’d rather not buy the stock at all. I’ve got an Ace Skeleton and an A2 stock which are ready to be switched around between my BM, my build project, and this mystery lower.

Gotta be black.

Advice?
Opinions?

I had a post-pan set-up that I used as a travel gun; used a stubby stock with an extender and an A2 butt plate. I wish I had a better pic. :frowning:

Getting an LMT/Colt lower minus the stock may be a problem.

If you could get the seller to remove the stock before they ship it to your FFL then you maybe good to go.

The LMT site has a lower with a fixed stock. I think I’ll just eat it and buy it with the stock.

I can sell my extra A2 to someone.

I’ve been looking for the same thing for a few weeks now. Just the lower and LPK sans stock. I’ve talked to several dealers and the problem is that LMT will not sell the lowers any other way than in a complete set up.
You’ll have to find someone, not a dealer, that will sell it to you without the stock if you want the fixed stock set up.

Get a stripped lower and build what you need. Check NY list and see if Noveske, Sun devil or POF is not banned.

You could get a lauer custom weapons made by LMT if you can find one they come stripped

Grant is hooking me up with an LMT Defender lower with an A2 stock.
