LMT Gen II Stock Weight

Anybody have any idea how much the LMT Gen II stock weighs?

I have exhausted all my internet search efforts and still can’t find out the answer…

How about the weight of the BCM Gen 2 buttstock (stock only), will that work? Looks the same to me. Let me know and I’ll take it to the office and put it on the postal scale.

I want to say 6.5-7.5oz IIRC, I’ll weigh one again tomorrow.

I don’t have a LMT stock to weigh but a new Colt 6920 stock weighs 6.5oz with the sling swivel and screw.

Thanks for the input and the offer fellas but I already decided to go ahead and order a Magpul CTR for my Colt 6920.

I was trying to talk myself out of spending the money by telling myself the advantages of the CTR over the OEM stock, including weight, were minimal. At the end of the day, I just like the CTR better and went ahead and bought it.

anyone have the weight of the older plastic CAR/727 stocks?

also… as i take the pokey sling attachments off anyway… weight sans this

I forget what the Colt plastic stock weighed on Project Featherweight…I want to say it was 4 oz or 5 oz, it was lighter than a Gen II M4 stock.
I’ll weigh mine tonight.

Dano the Colt CAR plastic stock body weighs 4.4oz.
