LMT CQB MRP???

I just took a LMT CQB MRP upper on trade, not knowing a lot about this.

I will not get this upper for about 3 more days and trying to find out all I can on it. This is a Gas Blow Back upper, but from what I have read, I can get a new barrel for this that is set up with a piston.

I would like to hear fist hand for a few of you how good this upper is. How hard is it to get the piston barrel set up?

As far as LMT products go, they are considered one of the top players and make battle tested quality products.

It’s not hard at all to get the piston barrel set up. When you buy the kit, it comes with a bolt and the barrel. Just remember to use the proper tools. When I bought my CQB MRP from LMT it came with a torque wrench and key. So when I ordered my 12" piston conversion kit from them, the swap was simple, because I had the proper tools to do it with.

Thanks guys. You told me what I wanted t know. I have a few guys on the OKLA page wanting to buy it if I do not like it and I think I can get my money off of it all. I am thinking about letting go and holding off for HK MR556. I have a good friend that has a HK-416 and it is just mean. Again, thank you for your input. JB
