I started playing with my LMT buis. successfully made it to bottom out -4 clicks below 6/3.
But I found out something. When you raise it to 6/3 or higher.
the aperture guard assembly not only rises but it would twist along it’s axis?.. if it moves. It won’t be accurate?
is the A2 upper with 8/3 setting the same? so how do you zero it if it moves?
I think I know what you’re talking about and every A2 style sight I’ve ever played with has done it as well.
yep, that’s just the way it is… seems flimsy, but it holds a zero and the twist doesnt seem to shift the sight picture at all. LMT fixed rears are my favorite.
ah if it’s normal… then it’s ok.
Yeah, all the A2 sights I’ve messed with do this too. The aperture seems to be designed to account for the twist.

The app is in the center of the twist. So it doesn’t affect windage.
if it doesn’t affect then im fine with it.
