I bought a LMT BCG from Ranier this week. Upon arrival, it seems as the key was staked perfectly and some “glue or other” was used under the key? Is it normal to glue on the key while screwing in and staking? Being a LMT, do they glue?
Looked great, just curious.
The last couple of LMT carriers I’ve purchased look like they used Rocksett on the bolts. I didn’t see any residue under the key itself.
All my LMT carriers had what looked like glue/sealer or thread locker coming out from under the keys.Its not an issue.Just scrape the excess off,lube it and shoot it…
