Got the PRS stock in on monday along with an AR10 rec extension, spring, and buffer from armalite. The castle nut was a PITA to remove. LMT stakes them to make sure it will not back off. I broke one castle nut wrench so I WD-40’d it and attacked the castle nut staking with a dremel tool. Finally removed it and replaced the carbine rec extension with the rifle unit and it slid right in and fit nicely. The PRS is a great fit for this rifle and brings the TA55A into a good natural point of aim with my cheekweld. I also installed the Larue 4xdos which lowered the ACOG a tad. The eye relief was a bit far but not too bad.
I got to the range a little late so I was only able to shoot two relays. I sighted in at 25yds on a target (not shown) then engaged a different target at 100yds.

6 Shots with 147gr surplus ammo. Still .5 in high and .25 to the left. Correct for windage and load Federal GMM ammo.
Top right- 4 Shots - Def not my best grouping but they were calling the range cold so I rushed these shots, not the rifles fault but mine.
Bottom Right- 7 Shots Fed GMM ammo- Good group 2 flyers on the top.
Bottom Left Switched to Hornady 168gr BTHP- 5 rds with a decent group, put 3 in a tight area then 2 fly out to the right. I think my groups were thrown off by my POA since the dot in the middle is the same color as the chevron on the ACOG so it was hard to keep a consistent POA.
Top Left- Hornady 168 gr AMAX. 2 strings of 5 shots each. I noticed the AMAX was hitting high after 5 shots so I adjusted down a couple of clicks and shot another 5 rounds. Not too shabby either but I knew I could shoot better.
#8 At the top of the target. I decided that the chevron and the red dots at the center of the target were throwing my POA off so I picked out the #8 at the top of the target (note this was someone elses target so most of the holes aren’t mine) I fired 4 rounds and achieved this group starting with the hole on the top loop of the 8 and going down and to the right.
I do believe this is an MOA or slightly better rifle and sub MOA in capable hands. With some good handloads, a nightforce, and an 18in SS barrel I think a 1000yds is def doable for this rifle. I am hoping to shoot to 600yds over this summer when I get a chance. Overall thought I think LMT made a winner.
