This a lightly used 16" factory LMT upper. I am selling it for $500, but there is a catch: In order to buy the upper for $500, you will need to purchase everything that is on the upper.
$500-LMT 16" 1/7 upper M-4 profile barrel, carbine length gas system.
$250-LMT Bolt carrier group
$200-Daniel Defense Carbine length Omega Rail
$100-Troy flip up rear sight
$30-Foliage Green Xtm rail covers and Larue Index clips
$50-Foliage Green Magpul Moe milspec buttstock
$30-Foliage green Tango Down, Ergo Grip
$150-Surefire 951 scout light with pressure switch (well used, but fully functional)
$1310 TOTAL
(I would be willing to keep the BCG and deduct $250 from the price)
Basically, you will need a lower receiver, lower parts kit, receiver extension (milspec),Buffer, and buffer spring and you will have one heck of a rifle.
If you shop around and have a little patience, you should be able to complete this rifle for an additional $300 and get a little change back. LMT quality for reasonable money even before the “panic”.
This was the top half of a factory assembled LMT Defender 2000 Carbine. I was told by the original owner that the round count was around 1500, but honestly, I would be SHOCKED if it had more than 500 rounds thru it. IT IS IMMACULATE! I picked it up in a trade a while ago, and have just sold the lower. The upper is not in my preferred configuration, so I either will need to spend some money on it or cash it in and begin my search for what I want.
Trades… well I am open to listening to any offer. I am not actively looking for anything, so try me. I will be polite and respond to any offer, however I feel that I have priced this upper without regard to recent high prices so I would appreciate any trade offered be considered at a non-hysteria price as well.
I am fully aware that an upper can be bought for less than this one, but you could not duplicate this upper and accessories for CLOSE to what I am asking.
