Apples to oranges, sure. But I always thought my suppressed 5.56mm weapons were pretty quiet until I shot 300 BLK suppressed.
A noticeable difference, but not a huge difference. From what I can hear in the video that is. Nice vid.
The noise at the muzzle in the 5.56 is slightly more “powerful” sounding (if that makes sense). The 300BLK literally sounds like a nailgun.
Where its really noticable is downrange. The supersonic crack of the 5.56mm is ridiculously loud. I bet 100 yards away on a windy day such as that, you probably wouldn’t even notice the muzzle report from the subsonic 300BLK. You definitely would not be able to distinguish it as gunfire. 100% certain.
Best part was the reaction of the guys on the line when you started firing an AR that was whisper quiet. Like, am I hearing that right?
