Tomas and his sister went door to door today, he’s sitting at 13%. Overall not a bad start for the year. Now that school will end next week he’ll be able to put more time into finding a one pill cure.
Tomas conducted his first Lemonade Stand for the year. They raised $236.07 at the stand and some people did online donations because of the stand. Total raised for his one pill cure today was $462.00.
Tomas set up an advocacy stand outside a local grocery store today. The kids ended up raising $237.75 for about 4 hours worth of talking to people and sharing stories.
One gentleman brought his Harley out to give Tomas an opportunity to sit on it.
Tomas needs some help, less than one month before his walk and he is sitting at 47% of his goal.
Statistically…he beat the cancer; he is 5 years off of treatment. Realistically we don’t know what he sacrificed to be alive. The damage that the chemo does to the children has been known for a while.
Tomas understands this and he only wants to help find a cure to help others in the future.
If you can help, he really appreciates it, if you can help comfort someone going through cancer treatment; he really appreciates it.
The walk is today, the gap is closing between Team Tomas and the other teams. This might be the first year that Team Tomas isn’t in first place. He is only leading by a little over $200.00. Can anyone help widen the gap?
