Just wanted to give a shout out to the customer service that I received from Mr. Swanson and LMT.
After a 1000 round day at a class, my mrp piston’s gas block pin drifted out enough for the gas block to be a tiny bit loose, although the gun was still functioning fine.
Emails to LMT immediately answered, and was immediately told that I could ship my upper back to be worked on.
Got my upper back today…and to my surprise, my gas piston plug was upgraded to their newer plug which allows suppressed fire.
I don’t have a suppressor, so I didn’t even ask…the guys at LMT just did it for me.
If any of my buds are looking for an AR, I’ll be sending them to LMT…and I plan on buying their stuff at any and all opportunity.
Great to hear, Gene is a real pro and is damn good at his job. I prefer to deal with Ryan who is a f**king rockstar in my book. If you ever have the pleasure of dealing with him, I imagine you will feel the same way as I do about his service and professionalism as well.

I have 1 lmt gun myself(a form 1’d lower with their 10.5 upper). I got a bad barrel off the start that wouldn’t stabilize 55gr ammo(ran everything heavier fine). Took a few days to get Gene on the phone(this was as much my fault as theirs). Once I talked to him they setup an rma. I want to say they got it back to me in like 10 days with a holiday in the middle. They tested it, replace the barrel, and installed my stuff back on it. Also set it back up with a peal washer as I was going to suppress it. Overall I was very happy with the service and will consider their guns in the future without question.
I run one of their plain Jane patrol carbine (with heavier buffer and full auto BCG) as my main AR.
The few dealings I have had with their customer service when ordering parts has been flawless. A solid product backed by good people.
I was probably already a LMT monorail lifer prior to meeting Ryan, however he has now completely solidified my belief in LMT and LMT’s monolithic railed rifles.
I really could brag on him for quite some time, he never disappoints me with his exceptional service and attention to my needs and questions that I may have.

You deserve some credit as well. It’s partially due to your beautifully maintained and modded MRPs that got me looking at the platform to begin with. 3 months after getting my first one I ordered my second one.
My first MRP was a rifle length 16" CL…literally less than a week later I impulse bought a NIB naked rifle length chassis based on how pleased I was with the first one. Slowly but surely I built both rifle lengths up to complete rifles. After those were completed and Alabama passed the SBR legislation I purchased my 3rd MRP which was a MRP CQB w/ 10.5" CL. Less than two weeks ago I FINALLY purchased a MWS w/ 16" CL…and currently waiting for the phone call from my FFL that is killing me.
To be perfectly honest, the ability to swap different barrels is perhaps last on my list of things that I love about the MRP/MWS. I fell in love with the actual barrel hookup and one piece chassis that have so many inherit benefits over traditional ARs imho. I do love removing the barrel every time I clean it and the chassis, and always like knowing I have the ability to “shape shift” on a 2 min notice even though I haven’t really gotten into that yet. I imagine the upcoming 300blk barrel options will be changing that though. I do believe I will use the MWS’s modularity to a much greater extent than I have so far with the MRPs.
Once I get started talking MRPs its hard to get me to shut up…
I love my plain jane 16" lmt upper ive used in my latest build. Its great to hear lmt has an awesome rep for cs. Hopefully I never have a problem buts its good to know i’ll be taken care of if there ever is.
I love my DI MRP I just bought it the rifle is rock solid the only thing that kind of threw me off was that is comes with an AR-15 BC. I’m not sure I need it since I haven’t shot it yet and don’t know what position the rifle ejects nato cartridges time will tell. It’s good to know LMT stands behind their product.
I have a 14.5 LMT M4 upper and really like it. If I had it to do over again, I would probably be running two MRPs. I do think that their prices for their basic carbines are on the high side for what you get compared to the competition now though.
