Leupold LCO/D-Evo for 11.5" KAC?

Hi all, definitely looking very seriously at the new KAC SR-15E3 CQB MOD 2 SBR, coupled with their CQB suppressor and some control accessories. Just wondering if the D-Evo’s 4X magnification would be overkill on the little guy. Could it still be useful when used in conjunction with the 1x LCO? I remembered Knights guns being a lot more expensive, but looks like the SR-15 models aren’t gonna rise above $2,500 (not including tax stamp). Would Leupold’s new offerings be beneficial for the shorty?

Also what is the verdict of using 40-round PMAGs over conventional 30-rounders or Lancers.

The members here could be of more use to you if you told us the firearms you actually currently own.

Then a comparison of features could be of more assistance to you. What other carbines, SBR’s or firearms do you own now?

Does the D-Evo even come in 4x? I’m pretty sure they are 6x only.

OP: You seem to be asking if a 6x is good for an SBR, depends on what you want to do with it. I’ve taken my 12.5" suppressed with an aimpoint to 600y on E-sized targets, I think I would get use out of that Leupold setup.

On that topic: It was very strange using one. Very unlike anything else out there. You definitely don’t move your head, you look down and there it is, so you’re looking “out” by looking “down”, very strange but I warmed up to it over a couple minutes of playing around.
