Still like the Garmin interface better than Tom Tom. Best buy has the nuvi 255WT on sale for $180 and the 265WT for $200. FWIW I bought my previous nuvi from gpsnow.com.
I like my Garmin, make sure you get a Nuvi Wide model with text to speech.
I did alot of study on them before I bought one. What people were telling me who had them was to go with either a TOM TOM or the Garmin Nuvi. Both are good quality and have fair prices, especially if you can find on sale. Also go with a wide screen if you can. I have a Garmin Nuvi 200W.
I have the Garmin Nuvi 750. Use it for work. I work in a warrant apprehension unit. What use to take us several hours to check 6 to 8 warrants we can now have them checked in a couple hours. We enter the address and they are displayed in order closest to furthest. We just go from one to the next. No problems with the Garmin . Love it. Paid $240 for it last year if I remember.

I know this is old but…
I’m looking to buy a vehicle-style GPS and don’t want to go over the $250 mark.
Anyone try the Garmin nuvi 1450LMT ? Any advice is welcome but I’m set on buying a Garmin for the most part. This is going in an SUV.
