I am assuming there are plenty of civilian instructors teaching concealed carry courses on this board and my hopes are that one or more of you can help me out. I am looking for a lesson plan on home firearm safety that I can borrow from as I have to teach a class to a group of civilians in early May. The class will only last an hour. I can certainly throw some material together on safe storage, handling, etc. but it would be great if there was a more professional package all put together. This is a volunteer class on my part - I am a LEO pistol and shotgun instructor. I would also give full credit to the creator of the program(s) that I used material from. If anyone can help me out, thanks.
The NRA has excellent home safety course packs. You can get them from the LEO division with a phone call.
