Seriously, I love the way well used guns look. The guys carrying them probably know how to use them.

Not a Baer fan but that is a fine looking pistol. Worn bluing is the best looking “finish” on a 1911.

Here is a very old range report from Jason Burton on his TRS that had over 40,000 rounds. Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure he told me later on that it passed 50,000 rounds.

I’ve handled that gun. I think when he moved on it had at least 50,000 on it.
That’s how a well built 1911 runs.

I have a Les Baer TRS also and it is great gun. I have nowhere near that many rounds through mine. Yours is sexy…

Agreed - mine is floating now around half that round count, primarily from the previous owner. For how I use the thing, I couldn’t ask for a better pistol.
For the money I don’t think you could make a better choice than a Baer for under $2K. You always here people who recommend these great choices in the same price range but there is much more to a good solid 1911 than those you see with pretty pictures that have 800 rounds through tem.

That Baer looks amazing. I have a buddy with a TRS with 55,000 through it. Looks pretty much just like that. I keep offering to buy it from him, but of course he wont part with it. Who would.
