I understand that a person can not attach and forward grip to an AR type pistol, but how about a hand stop like the Ergo surestop handstop? I ask this question because the new RRA PDS pistol has an integrated one.
It appears to me that the stop on the RRA is a safety device to prevent a person from putting his hand over the muzzle, and is certainly not something that you could hold onto. The hand guard prevents a person from getting burnt on the hot barrel.
