Picked up a MUT the other day, but really felt left out without a castle nut wrench! So, I whipped something up.

How much?
Indeed. I think you have a viable business opportunity here. I would buy one as well, if you could sell them for about $20.
+1 on $20 or maybe $25 shipped.
The MUT is a great tool for any range bag it would be nice if you could cut out a notch for a muzzle device too either way I’d buy one.
I would be in. I have a tacticool black Surge, but that castle nut tool roxors.
Count me in on that def would be forking over 20 for one
So did you just take a saw and a grinder to a basic stock wrench?
Pretty slick. I just won an MUT from AAC… I’d probably pick one of those up just to say I’ve got one.
I want one.
Nice! Time to patent that thing and sell a bunch!
Exactly. Then chat with Paul at BCM or Grant at G&R to stock them, and sell them for you.
Sounds good to me.
I will add more functionality to the tool. This was just a quick job on the grinder.
I am working with a friend/coworker to write a program for the CNC machine.
Anyone have a preference on coating? I just used some krylon on this, thinking it was just going to be my own thing. I would like a durable finish if I am to be sending them out, though.
Id take one as well. Great item.
I like it!
I’ll take one also.
Krylon is good, no need for expensive finishes IMHO.
Looks like you’ve got a good idea there! Sign me up for one of those bad boys!
+1. Go with it.
Pat
Someone makes something very similar already so I doubt that this will be eligible for a patent. At least the way I understand the patent process.
Have you used this on a properly staked castle nut to break it loose? Was this designed as emergecny type use tool?
