Leatherman Molle pouch?

I want to add a pouch to my chest rig for a Letherman Wave. Is the pouch that Leatherman sells worth a damn, or is there a better aftermarket option?

any pistol mag (for a double stack mag obviously) should work fine, provide the pouch comes up enough or the top can be cinched down

The HSGI single pistol mag pouches are just about perfect for this. And they’ve got a velcro and/or fastex buckle lid so they’re very secure.

My leatherman came with it. You probably could pick it up on ebay for cheaper. With the mag case It might not be easy to get it out of it. I like the case. It’s not like the soft pouch you get with gerber that wears out pretty fast. It’s pretty tough. Inside of it is a stretchy band to hold the little tool bits in. One of these guys

try John Willis @ Original SOE gear.

You can get it with a buckle or a velcro flap; for molle or for a belt. I got the buckle molle version. Also got another one specifically made for a folder. Typical bombproof John Willis construction.

I’m using a ATS multi-cam single mag pouch to hold my Gerber multitool on my M4 Chest Rig. It fits very well and secures with a velcro flap. The Gerbers have a lanyard hole and I have a short piece of 550 cord through mine to aide extraction from the pouch, I don’t know if the Leathermans have a lanyard hole, but would assume they do.

Polite Society has a nice multi-tool pouch made for them by Eagle, that I though about picking up too.

Rob, I bought one earlier this year and think it’s certainly adequete. Granted, it isn’t of Eagle quality but I think it will hold up fine.

I got one for my wave, they are made well, but like any thing with velcro, after a hundred or so open & close’s they get loose, just a thought.

I use the Gerber in my PSI Eagle pouch, the lid is adjustable

So anyone using the PSI/Eagle pouch that can tell me what Leatherman fits in it? I’m gong to order a new LM to put in it and I’d like to be sure that what I buy is going to fit.
