I have a Safariland 6280 that I don’t use for duty anymore but is still in great shape accept for the stupid leather covering on the outside to give it the basket weave finish.
Have any of you guys ever removed the leather covering from a similar holster? It’s worn in a few spots so I thought I’d be able to tear it off or something, but it’s REALLY on there! Whatever adhesive they use is very good lol.
I’d like to take the ugly leather covering off and put it on a belt if need be. What would you guys try? Has anyone successfully done it before?
