To help consumers convert older guns to newest configurations, Colt is offering the LE6920CK. The 6920CK is a complete conversion upper that includes a pivot pin conversion should your older Colt have the old larger style. The upper comes complete with a BCG and CH, and Matech BUIS. Coincidentally, it’s those last two items that leave me scratching my head.

On the flyer Colt was circulating, no BCG or CH is pictured.

Take a close look at what else is wrong with that picture:

You’d figure SOMEONE familiar with that sight would have seen the error before this image was released to the public. I guess HK’s proven such a thing doesn’t always happen.

I am not surprised. Typically marketing people don’t know jack about what they are marketing. The adds are never created by people who actually know details about the product. No offense intended to anyone here who is in marketing. It’s just that in my experience it seems to be true.

There is also no front sling swivel pictured, nor is the side-mount swivel that is normally standard on the regular 6920.

I see shades of HK when they had their blunder a few years back with the bullet backwards in the magazine.
