I’ve really been trying to ignore this frenzied buying climate believing that the threat of restrictive legislation would fade away. I’m wavering…
Would anyone pay 1700- for a standard Colt LE6920 (Restricted Rollmark)
It’s 5, 6, maybe even 700 more than normal, but will we see normal again, who can say. Would you buy it?
Not me. I bought what I needed before this all happened. Hopefully it will return to normal, but prices probably won’t return for quite some time.

I would not let go of a Colt unless if you had to. If you do choose to sell, I would price at above $2000.
Do you have $1700 to buy it? If you do then it’s up to you to decide. Why would anyone listen to us. We all have the BRD, so we’re biased! Ask your wife if it’s worth it. 
What do you currently own? If I was wanting to purchase an AR to add to several I already had, I would wait this out.
If I was looking to purchase my first AR, I guess I’d have to weigh it pretty carefully and roll the dice, one way or the other.

Looking to buy a 6920 and couldn’t do it before Christmas. Been trying to remain positive but it seems like it may be buy now at inflated prices or possibly never.

If it were me, and I had the money to do so, I would do it.
Id buy it because whatever the EO Obama passes you might not ever get another chance to own one.

Personally, if you can afford it, and want it, then buy it. Some of the bigger name companies have flat out stated they are not raising their prices, and are not gouging, and still charging the standard prices to their dealer network. ie Daniel Defense, MagPul, BravoCompany
My dealer however is being charged MSRP for any ar he buys from his distributors, so he adds his cut, which is fair, it is a business.
So long answer made short, buy it. Its a Colt, they hold value really well, especially if you keep the box and papers together. Shoot it and enjoy it, or tuck it in a safe for a piece of American history that may not be around much longer.
Once gun control starts being discussed on the Senate and House floors and in Committee hearings, the prices will only go up. Just my educated guess.

I had been slowly buying AR’s etc as funds were available before all this started. Three days after watching the sh!t-storm brewing I went to my local fun shop and picked up the Colt LE6920 I had been eyeing for $1500.00 and have been grinning ever since (great AR).
If you have the means get it and if nothing happens (I hope) you overpaid $500 - $700 dollars… worse things have happened.
If the idiots have their way and pull another AWB or worse… that $1700 will look like the best investment you ever made.
If it is the place in Arizona…do they still have any in stock? You might want to confirm via email with them…
I’d hold out for the latest M4 rollmark… If a ban comes down the pipe, they’ll be a lot more rare…I think.
I bought a 6920 MP-B yesterday for $1499. Six months or a year ago I would have hemmed and hawed over paying $200-300 less than that for the same rifle, which is why I didn’t and am now kicking myself for not doing it then. But yesterday I couldn’t get over to the LGS fast enough when they called to tell me they had one in stock. Crazy times beget crazy behavior. Wish I had a crystal ball, because right now it’s hard to know if six months from now it will look like a bargain or a ripoff.
they were SELLING for 3000 at the fargo gunshow last weekend. the dpms and bushmasters were going for 2200. obama might sign an executive order banning the sale of those so im glad im not in your shoes. that is a tough decision to make.
Buy it. Probability is increasing that you may not get to buy one. A couple of years ago they were selling for $1300+ in the good old days.
