Latest and Greatest quotes from the American Hating President;
1.Obama said Islam had “always been a part of America’s story”. --Where does he get this shiite? I thought America was founded by Christians?
2.But he also said the “situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable”. --Like they had no control over it.
3.On the Iranian nuclear issue, Mr Obama said: “No single nation should pick and choose which nations hold nuclear weapons” and said Iran had the right to peaceful nuclear power. – Really? Guess we should let every piss-ant country have nukes, why not? Like Iran won’t use them on Israel.
4."Whatever we think of the past,‘’ the president said to a theater audience frequently applauding his repeated appeals for mutual understanding, "we must not be prisoners to it.‘’
5.The American president, born of a Muslim father from Kenya and white mother from Kansas and raised for part of his childhood in Indonesia, flatly declared that the U.S. is "not at war with Islam.‘’
6.The readiness of the U.S. to fulfill its guiding principles, he said, is demonstrated by the fact that "an African American with the name Barack Hussein Obama could be elected president.
For Obama’s nearly hourlong speech, the State Department opened telephone lines for callers worldwide to register for free text messages in Arabic, Persian, Urdu and English. It also was posting the speech in nine other languages.
This guy is a f-in moron! Every person who voted for this closet muslim “Manchurian Candidate” needs to be beaten severely!
I always thought who the hell are we to play some moral high ground and tell other countries what they can and cannot have.
If we were to say that we think you are a bunch of wack jobs and too primitive to have nuclear power and we are going to kick the living shit out of you because we are bigger if you go nuclear because it will make us sleep better then I am fine with that but non of this moral BS.
To your bullet #1…
Islam has been a part of America’s story since Thomas Jefferson was a congressman. He went to Tripoli when our ships were being attacked by pirates. He learned that they needed to attack us because the Koran commands it.
Then he picked up a copy to read it. Then when he was president he attacked them. Then the first muslim congressman was sword in with Jefferson’s Koran.
See, Islam has been a part of America’s story from the beginning…
I know all about the Barbary Pirates. I’m referring his erroneous premise that Islam has been part of America’s story. Only that one instance of pirating, when they were crushed by the US Navy and Marines they ceased to be a force of piracy. America didn’t have to deal with Islam till WW1. But this notion that America since it’s founding was shaped by Islam is BS! Christians founded this country and with 85% of the population christian Obama’s statements saying “America is not a christian nation” is a LIE! Sorry 1% of the total population shapes nothing, contributes nothing, but has contributed death, jihad and a gaping hole in Manhattan! Islam from it’s beginning has been all about control, murder and lies. Islam, LDS, Scientology, and the rest of the cults, etc. are all religions founded by a nut case and accepted by the ignorant masses!
If you want to step up to the big boy table ponder your post. The biggest dog on the block sets the rules. With nuclear weapons comes awesome responsibilities. I do not think that “Stinky” in Iran would play nice with nukes. Letting India and Pakistan get them was a big mistake. Only nations with sane, rational, and a freely elected government should be allowed to have nukes.
But to take that stance that America is a bully and shouldn’t meddle in other nations business is blind and dangerous!
I’m waiting for AMERICANS, you know 1776 type patriots, to get fed up with the whole of Washington DC and oust the entire effing lot of bottom feeding socialist bums. What is it going to take to wake the average, blissfully ignorant “I just want to go to work, raise my family and take my two weeks vacation a year” types and piss them off enough to turn this nation around? I’m not holding my breath. This is frog in the slowly heating pot of water stuff.
Frankly I hope BHO continues to run his mouth off in hopes that it will act as a slap in the face of the good people in this nation. But I’m not holding my breath. Things look bleak.
Let’s forget the “moral” high ground issue. If Iran was truly only interested in developing nuclear technology for energy and peaceful uses then why did they not accept all the incentive packages that were offered to them? Why do they refuse to allow full access to nuclear inspectors?
The answer is simple. They are full of shit and it is their intention to develop a nuke. Aside from the threat to Israel it would upset the whole balance of power in the Middle East. Sadly we are going to let it come to fruition unless Israel intervenes. Oh yeah, and Iran is looking at the North Korean situation and laughing because they know that the world is not going to do shit.
I’m guessing you’re a Liberterian? Not meant as a dig, it is just you seem to be taking a interpersonal philosphy and applying it to international politics. Wasn’t it Stimson in Roosevelt’s administration that said “Gentlemen don’t read each other’s mail”? Applying standards of behavior that are useful when waiting in line for a cup of coffee at Starbucks, is not the way to deal with rogue states.
We can play your game though, for fun. If you had a person that had shown a willingness to attack innocent people with his shotgun, would you say he had a right to a machine gun because he said he wanted to make ice sculptures or cut down trees with it? What’s next, refrigeration technology for penguins and humidifiers for jungle tribes in Brazil?
Yes, Realpolitik has its downsides and limitations. Things in the long run will trend towards a morally correct outcome, but you can wait a long time and get a lot of people killed waiting passively for it to happen.
-On the whole Muslim nation thing. Sure, point out that we have muslims and they do great here. I just hope that this isn’t some first step in some kind of “Look, we have always been muslim! Give me your razor and here’s the burka for the wife.”
If you want to step up to the table, then just call it like it is - you (Iran) are a bunch of crazy fucks and we are bigger than you so drop it or get your ass kicked but don’t play some BS moral compass of the world BS game.
That’s right, any nation, whether peaceful or prone to terrorist tendencies, should be allowed to possess nuclear technology. The real problem with world peace is all these damn lawful citizens who want to be able to protect themselves. They’re the real criminals here.
You are absolutely right Iraqgunz.
I hope Israel has the capability to bomb the Iranians further more I hope they do it right as the anointed one is on airforce one has it is rolling down the runway heading back to the USA.
I also hope Israel hits them ASAP and does so with excessive force.
The speech overseas today…I simply can’t articulate in a public forum what I now wish to see happen to this man. I believe the scum would sit in his office and play with his new dog while Israel is overrun by radical maniacs.
Somebody please wake me up and tell me this is all a bad dream. Three and a half more years of this will be poison for the United States we know and love.
I’ll bet any one of you a thousand dollars of my future earnings that if Iran develops nuclear weapons they won’t use them on Israel.
Would it change the balance of power? Sure, but I’m not convinced that it would be a bad thing. The Iranian people(who by the way are about the most Americanized of all middle easterners,) would no doubt find the freedom liberating and begin to demand more freedom from their government. The Saudi people would no doubt stop living under their tyrannical government. The United States and Israel would be but distant memories in the minds of the people.
Hell, we’re leaving Iraq anyway…and the Iranians wouldn’t want nuclear armed Taliban any more than we do, they’d probably “help” us in Afghanistan.
We thought the world was going to end when Pakistan and India developed the bomb. The rhetoric between governments stopped mighty quickly. In fact the Russians and our government both used equally inflammatory rhetoric during the cold war and it worked out just fine.
Israel will not sit out and wait (nor can they afford to) they will take care of business themselves (history shows this)… and I fully support them.
Interesting side note…since his speech said every nation has the right to peaceful nuclear power…we should be asking our elected representatives in congress where we are building our next new “peaceful” nuclear facility here in the US…why not develop more here in lieu of all the “green” fuel discussions? Would that not solve allot of the energy issues?! Rush hit this in his interview with Hannity.
I think that is a non-sequitor that if they get the bomb, they get more liberal- it hasn’t happened in NK has it? You are right about Iranian western leanings, but if they get the bomb, that will lead to even less pressure from the outside world for change towards a more moderate gov’t. If they get the bomb, it is a further step down the road towards an NK type country.
As to Saudi’s, if Iran gets the bomb, they will strive to get the bomb so their Sunni bomb can balance the Shitte bomb. Then Saudi becomes the new Pakistan, with radicals trying to overthrow the gov’t and control the bombs.
The difference being that in North Korea both sides have totally isolated themselves from the other. I believe that if sanctions were dropped and we treated them as another country, the inevitable prosperity would lead them away from a tyrannical theocracy. But as you said, that hinges on both governments willingness to trade.
As for the Saudis, I think you’re right that they’d want the bomb. But the Saudis have more to lose if they lost their current relationship with the west. Saudi Arabia is a lot more complicated, and perhaps I should have left them out of my original post. Because unlike the Iranians, the Saudis have an EXTREMELY powerful lobby in Washington DC. People always complain about the Israeli lobby(albeit often for anti-semetic reasons) being too powerful and they’re correct, but the Saudis wield as much if not more power in our government.
It’s why I think we should cut all of them off. We currently fund both sides of this conflict.
ETA:The main reason I even got involved in this thread with my opposite views is that I can’t stand remarks like the OP made. If the Muslim world thinks we’re at war with Islam, then we are in fact going to be involved in this long past our grandchildren are dead. Maybe rhetorical, and maybe ineffectual(especially considering his expansion of the war,) but not the worst things for a president to say.
I also don’t like the “closet Muslim” talk…since when is religion a litmus test for the presidency in this country? In fact in the past we’ve had presidents who told the country to get bent when asked what religion they practiced.
So we have a president who’s doing the wrong things, but low and behold those wrong things are almost exactly the same as what GWB was doing. We’re still waterboarding people, we’re going to be in Iraq for the foreseable future, we’re expanding in Afghanistan, and will somebody remind me how many times GWB bombed Pakistan? Because Obama has done it multiple times now. So he may be speaking softly, but he’s carrying the same stick.
And before anybody says crap about me liking Obama, I absolutely detest him. He’s certainly doing everything he can to bring about the economic ruin of this country. But let’s not pretend like this crap is new.
