Last Gun Company Out of New York: Turn out the lights!

http://freebeacon.com/three-gun-companies-leave-ny-following-gun-law/

Nearly 10 months since New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D.) signed the SAFE Act, opposition to the law continues to increase, multiple gun companies have announced plans to leave the state, and a key provision in the law has been quietly delayed.

American Tactical Imports (ATI) announced it would be leaving the state and will be investing $2.7 million in its new facility and creating 117 new jobs in South Carolina.

ATI’s announcement follows the decision of Kahr Arms to relocate to neighboring Pennsylvania, citing “uncertainty” about gun laws following the passage of the SAFE Act.

Meanwhile, Remington Arms is reportedly scouting locations in Tennessee for a new plant, following passage of the SAFE Act.

Now, let there be a financial blessing on the private gun owners of Noo Yawk to give them the fiscal independence to tell the Empire State to pound sand.

COME ON REMMINGTON!!! We have the perfect spot in Clarksville!

This us great news. Liberal states are hell bent to outlaw most guns and make criminals of everyday Joes. Gun manufacturers need to get to gun friendly territory and quit paying taxes to those whacko states.

So besides Remington/Freedom Group and Kimber, what big ones are left in that State?

Even though most of what Kimber produces is legal under the SAFE Act, it’d be nice to have a united front on this issue.

Why does ANY big business stay in NY?

sounds like a good use of the hemlock site doesnt it?

EXACTLY. Plenty of land. 3/4 built already. Utiilties, access to transportation system; huge customer across town; Non-union, young and motivated workforce. No income tax (except Hall), no estate tax, republican supermajority legislature/governor, non-union state.

I wish they’d let ME talk to them!
