This is my Grayman Merdeka… should I run out of ammo,(doubtful ,but ya never know) here is my “Last Ditch”… Fits nicely on my Predator vest on the side with the front flap helping secure her better in place… lil on the larger side, but hell if the sight of it just has em hesitate for a second, that’ll be enough time for me…
nice knife, looks like it could kill and chop very effectively, I like it but I would think a simpler knife close to that design would be more to my taste
Where did you get the K9 patch from?
I dunno, maybe you wouldn’t run out of ammo so often if you didn’t have a PSL and a vest full of AR mags.
(sorry, couldn’t resist)
patch is of my own design… and you should see the go bag in the truck… at least 20 more mags… lol…
I hope you have different mags for that rifle, or a different rifle for those mags.
Care to take some measurements on the blade? How thick is it and how heavy? It looks to be a solid 1/4." And it has to be almost 3" wide or so. Cool knife, but looks a little cumbersome to use.
Big knives are cool.
They are also impractical and take up a lot of room on a vest.
I tend to keep my vest mounted blades small and efficient, and the bigger ones in a pack.
ok ol girk is 8"x3"x1/4" blade, 13.5" overall, fits snug in the vest under my outer flap. due to a side plate i have, she is floppy when flap is open. but when closed not bothersome at all… handle settles itself more towards the front as i move around, the bottom of the sheath does not bother me while riding to venue in the truck. again she is “last ditch”, not one of my every day users. i work k9 and i am usually far away from my the trucks searching the perimeters of the venues or the classic “suspicious” looking crap other folks dont want to go near. mostly i just have the 9 mil with me due to folks get pissy about giving us short barrel ar’s, and most of the venues they dont want us carrying long rifles… might offend the locals who are all carrying ak’s… go figure… not most folks taste i understand, but she in no way impeeds on my searches, so i have no worries about bringing her along…
