LaRue Torque Adjustment

I am looking to make a trade with someone for a LaRue BUIS, but they do not have the wrench to adjust the torque. Can I use any other type of adjustable wrench or anything to adjust it should it fit too tight or loose on my upper?

Thanks,
Matt (who will hopefully have his first Larue product soon)

Per Mark Larue in this thread…

Thank you for the link. Read through it but did not see anywhere about if I can use other wrenches. Only saw mentions of the Larue dillo.

Any 3/8" socket ought to work fine.

Awesome, thanks.

Matt,

If you call LaRue directly and speak to Mike Early, he will likely send you out what you need. Their customer service is that good!

Yup, I lost the spacer on one of the new Railed HG’s, my own fault I just misplaced it. I called to see if I could buy another and they just sent me one, no cost. I had it in 3 days.

Thanks for the advice guys! I’ll give it a try.

Another reason why I am a Larue fan!

Good customer service in today’s time, is becoming a rare thing.
