LaRue Torque Adjustment

I am looking to make a trade with someone for a LaRue BUIS, but they do not have the wrench to adjust the torque. Can I use any other type of adjustable wrench or anything to adjust it should it fit too tight or loose on my upper?

Jokes aside, it appears that the better method is to adjust it to where the lever meets solid resistance at about 30-45 degrees from the centerline of the rail. Another method is to adjust until the mount cannot be scooted back and forth on the rail…turns out that that’s about 45 degrees.

Thank you for the link. Read through it but did not see anywhere about if I can use other wrenches. Only saw mentions of the Larue dillo.

Any 3/8" socket ought to work fine.

Yup, I lost the spacer on one of the new Railed HG’s, my own fault I just misplaced it. I called to see if I could buy another and they just sent me one, no cost. I had it in 3 days.
