Larue Tactical A-PEG Grip

I don’t see these mentioned often and a search didn’t yield much. What do people think of the Larue A-PEG grips? How do they compare to other common grips like A2 or MOE or BCM Gunfighter?

love mine… i put it on a 6.8 i use to deer hunt with. very comfortable.

Are you using the smooth or rough texture grip? What does it feel like? I have not had the opportunity to handle one. I don’t like rubbery feeling grips like Hogue and ERGO.

textured. it’s not rubbery. feels like the magpul (not the rubbery magpul) but it has a good palm swell in it.

I think I’ll give it a shot. I like the way it looks and I’m looking for something like the US Palm grip on my AK.

If you like the U.S. Palm grip the look at the Tangodown grips.

Love mine. Just replaced my MIAD with it

I’ll second the tango down. Found a deal on one to see if I like it, and I do.
Like the miad too, but its just a different feel.
Haven’t tried the larue, but if its anything like the TD…

At least grips are cheap to try out. If I find I don’t like it, doesn’t break the bank to move on.

for what its worth I have used the bcm gunfighter, standard a2 ,apeg and miad and out of all them by far i think the apeg is the best. obviously its shooters preference but for me the grip is extrmely comforatable and helps "point"the rifle.

I’ve got 5 of them. I’ve had about every grip made and this one is my favorite. I’ve got a couple of smooth as well as rough. There is little difference between the two.

The MIAD is number 2.

Once again it’s all about personal preference but I actually removed the APEG grip from my PredetAR and installed a BCM grip.

Perhapse I never have the LaRue Grip a chance as I removed it before even firing the gun but just handling the gun it felt very odd in my hand. The BCM grip is a bit smaller than the MIAD that I love but it feels a lot better to me than the APEG
