LaRue Riflescope Mount Options for Leupold Scope

I have a Leupold Rifleman QDManager 3-9x40mm scope that I want to use on my M4 flat top rifle. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this scope mounted in a LaRue scope mount, specifically the LT-104 and the LT-139.

Which mount would I be better off using with this scope? My rifle has a rail that extends the length of the receiver and into the railed forearm so basically the mount could be positioned anywhere on the top of the rifle. Would I really need the extended forward position of the rings on the LT-139 or would it be just fine with the LT-104?

Any information or insight would be appreciated.

I’ve attached a photo so you can see…I have it as far forward as possible and this gives me full eye relief with a good cheek weld (the stock is set one setting expanded, and I’m 6’2" for reference).

Nice rifle!

Thanks for the point of reference. It looks like the LT-104 would work out fine for me. Our scopes are fairly close in spec as far as dimensions go.
But then again, the LT-139 would work as well. I’d be able to center the rings better to the scope with the LT-139 and still be within the range of eye relief.
So I guess price will be the defining factor. Which mount can I get for cheaper!

I went with this scope mount as well for a Mark IV that I have on a 7.62 suppressed AR and I love it.

Solid mount and no zeroing issues after taking off and on for cleaning.
