Larue Rail question

I have a RRA Entry Tactical with the 16" R-4 barrel profile. I have decided on a Larue FF rail but I wanted to know if I went with the 9.0 would the factory front sight still fit on it or should I just go with the 7.0. I would like to put a tango down grip and a light on it. I am open for ideas.

9.0 is for a midlength with FSB, 7.0 is for carbine (i.e. Colt M4) with FSB.

You could go with a low profile gas block and a set of rail mounted sights. (If you bought the 9in, that is.):wink:

I don’t mean to sound dum but what does FS stand for.

Thanks for the help

Sorry I meant FSB

FSB=front sight base

So if I am understanding right if I want to use a Larue FF rail and keep my orgnial front sight I would have to use the 7.0?

Thanks for your help

That is correct.

Or, you could use the Daniel Defense 9.5 FSP, but that is not what you asked about.

Thanks for the information. I did look at the Daniel Defense 9.5 but I still like the Larue better. It looks like I could get a Tango down grip and a light on the 7.0.
