Hi Guys -
I’m hoping someone can give me a definitive answer to my question. I’ve emailed LaRue, but haven’t heard back from them.
I have the opportunity to purchase a LaRue Po Boy magnifier with the LaRue LT-649 “tall” mount (now discontinued). This flip-to-side mount was originally for the Aimpoint 3x magnifier.
I currently have a new Eotech XPS2-0 (without the 7mm riser built-in that’s found on other models) currently receiver mounted to my Noveske with absolute co-witness to my FSB.
I’m looking for a 1/3 co-witness across the board with the Po Boy.
LaRue has the LT-110 Eotech qd riser mount that I’d like to get:
http://www.laruetactical.com/larue-tactical-eotech-qd-mount-lt-110
And just below, in the tech notes, it says:
“The LT-649 “Tall” Pivot Mount (with Aimpoint 3X magnifier), mounted on the receiver rail will work on all models, but may interfere with rear sights.”
My question is: Can I buy the LT-110 mount and then install both the XPS-2 and the Po Boy to that for 1/3 co-witness? Can the Po Boy be mounted to the extra tail section of the LT-110 or will that be up to high? Or does the LT-649 “tall” mount need to be receiver mounted (like I think I’m reading from LaRue’s tech note) and just the Eotech mounted to the LT-110? I also have a Magpul flip-down BUIS mounted back there, so I’m wondering about space.
Sorry for the long-winded technical question, but I’m trying not to buy stuff that won’t work and finding this a bit confusing.
Thanks for any help and insight!
