Lancer L5 20-round mags G2G?

I know the 30 round mags still have issues, are the 20 round mags G2G, or issues there, too?

Why bother? Aren’t NHMTG’s still commonly available??

Honestly? I like how they look and wanted to buy 2 or 3 if they were equally reliable with the Okay/NHMTG’s.

I have never had any issues with Lancer mags of any gen, but I love their 20rders

i have used two of the 20 rd lancers as my ‘‘range bag mags’’ for a couple of years now. they both have fed ammo perfectly through several of my rifles, and my shooting buddy’s. also, i have never had any problems what-so-ever with the 30 rd lancers

Strangely enough I used my Lancer mags during the Magpul Dynamics course along with my Surefire Mag, PMAG’s and a couple of USGI mags and none of them had issues.

I had no idea Lancers were supposed to be bad. :confused:

I’ve been using two each of the original Lancer L5 20-rounder and the newer L5AWM 20-rounder and have had no problems with any of them.

Aside from them lacking anti-tilt followers and making sproingy sounds when empty, I have had zero problems with Lancer 20 round mags.

Lancers 20s, 30s have worked fine for me and they don’t need anti-tilt followers due to their constant curve much like AK mags.

FWIW I have about a dozen of them and have had no issues with them. I’d buy more.
