In short I made a good amount of these Kydex belt adapters to be used with HSGI Taco’s. I’m sure you know what HSGI Taco’s are but just in case you dont, they are universal mag carriers. They can carry just about anything that will fit in them. Mags, flashlights, folding knives, multi-tools, etc.
I made all of these by hand using 1/8" black Kydex. They except 1-1/2" belts that are no thicker than a 1/4". They are extremely strong. Each belt adapter has a single insert nut and bolt holding the one end closed. To test for strength I tried to pry the one end apart with a large flat head screw driver and failed to do so. Kydex is extremely tough. As said these were all hand made. There are clamping marks, scratches, grinding marks etc. They are not “pretty”. They are functional. Thats it. I personally use these with my Taco’s for IDPA and I love them.
