My labor produces money. If the government owns my money, then that means the government owns my labor. If the government owns my labor, then I am a slave.
Paul Krugman, a far-left, columnist for the New York Times, recently criticized those who “see taxes and regulation as tyrannical impositions on their liberty” and who believe “that people have a right to keep what they earn.” At least one branch of the American political machine, shares Krugman’s view, that the money you earn – the material manifestation of your mental and physical labor – is not yours. It belongs to the government.
Actually, your labor produces goods and/or services which, in turn, you voluntarily exchange for legal tender issued (and owned) by the federal government.
If your labor is producing “money” and you’re not an employee of the United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing, well, you might want to keep that on the down low.
This is the biggest BS I have read on here in a while.
If you’re being serious, well, thats just pathetic buddy!
In no way does the goverment “own” my money, my self, or my belongings. Period.
I do not “voluntarily” exchange my goods and/or services for the FRN’s as legal tender, I am forced to, as are the rest of you; there is nothing “voluntary” about it…
I had a professor last semester who would tell us to listen to NPR. The professor was an outright communist, in my opinion. He seemed to be in love with Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution.
You’re a better man than I to even tune in for 5 seconds. :thank_you2:
Half the time I want to pound the dashboard. But I like “Market Place”(financial info.),“This American Life,” and “A Prairie Home Companion.” This means sometimes I have to listen to their leftist agenda. It just means I can hear a different viewpoint, even if I don’t agree with it very often. And I haven’t yet damaged my dashboard so it’s ok.
