What is the base weight for a complete bcm 16"ewl 13"kmr?
I tried getting someone to buy on3, but he’s looking at the lwrc 6asl foe $1200 (Nooooooo!!).
I’m trying to drive him to the bcm.
Right now I have the bcm as lighter (pending this thread)

Is better accuracy a fair claim in favor of the bcm?
It has a rail (moe handguards on lwrc)

I have a 16" ELW-F in my possession right now and it’s the most picky barrel I’ve seen.
It will easily shoot under 2moa with 69gr SMKs, but it won’t shoot M855 at all. Shoots somewhat better with M193.
It is very light and balanced but also makes it hard to shoot. I was in love with it until I actually shot it. I think it’s one of those awesome things that just didn’t work out for me…
All weights come from online sources, I did this awhile back.

KMR13 is 7.7oz with everything.*
16" ELW-F is 21.5oz*
Complete flattop upper is 8oz
BCG is 11.5oz
Standard charging Handle is 1.3oz
Mid-Length Gas tube is 0.8oz
Gas block is probably 1.3oz or so, I never found a weight.
Mod 0 comp is probably 2.5oz or so, again, never found a weight. Standard A2 is 2.2, my PWS FSC-556 is 2.5.

According to my bathroom scale its 7.2 pounds unloaded and 8 pounds with a full 30 round PMAG. There is a lot of weight I could shave off if I wanted to.
