The above is a thread over on the High Road site dealing with fake 1911 mags.
Do Glock, Beretta, SIG, etc. have problems with fakes as well or is it more prevalent in the 1911 world?
Are people misrepresenting them for sale or are they actually not detected until used? How do you make a fake mag? Take a cheap mag and engrave a different name on it?
Presumably a cheap Chinese (or whatever) knockoff represented as OEM.
