Im looking to buy a real nice night vision scope for my sniper rifle, Im looking at the PVS-27 Magnum or the Knights PVS-26, has anyone had any hands on with these??, there seems to be allot of info on the PVS-27, but I can’t really find and info on the Knights unit, what Im looking for is the spec’s of the PVS-26, scope power range, eye piece size ect., it seems the U.S. Army uses the Knights unit, and other branches use the PVS-27 Mag, just looking to find out if one is a little better than the other, thanks
We’ve worked with the 27 quite a bit and a short time on the 26…The 27 brings in an amazing amount of light with magnification in the 12-15x arena with qaulity glass along with a Larue QD. The MUNS shock mitigation system is second to none in this arena and no other unit can match the intensifier tube recoil durability. Current contract is in the thousands per month with the Marines. The good news is they are now commercially available as well after being restricted for a long while due to supply chains back logs. Hope this helps.
