Im looking into purchasing another rifle. i recently started to look into KAC Sr15mod 2. does anyone own one ? what do you guys think. do you guys prefer the urx rail or the keymod. thank you

It’s got all the awesome stuff (Intermediate gas, CHF 16" barrel in a smart contour, ambidextrous controls, and E3 Bolt) from the previous SR-15’s, plus a really light KeyMod URX4 handguard and the new proprietary Mod2 gas system that uses a pretty neat flanged gas tube.
If that’s a rifle that meets your needs, it’ll be tough to beat. I’m going to be extremely interested in the URX-4 MLOK handguard, and if there is a Mod2-MLOK version, but beyond that it’s a really stout setup… I’ll probably end up just getting the MLOK handguard and putting it on my old Mod0 SR-15, but they’re all really solid rifles. The biggest argument the URX3.1 equipped Mod1 would have is that used ones are around, and money saved on that would be awesome.
You can place a safe bet that anything knights releases is going to be good. I love my SR15 mod 1 and can’t wait to get an MLOK mod 2. My SR15s are my favorite ARs, they beat out my Colts, BCMs, LMTs and Noveske rifles hands down.
Does anyone know how long the rail is on the mod 2 for the 16inch barrel ? I can’t find that anywhere. I’m thinking about running a leupold mark AR 1.15x4 20mm . Can I see your Knights setup? Gents
